The Video & Electronics Standard Association (VESA) has issued suggested standards for the attachment mounting systems for electronic visual displays also known as the Flat Display Mounting Interface. Whilst these standards are quite detailed the basic details of the standards involve the size of the display and the relevant spacing and sizing of the hole to mount the display.
